A latest report from CBRE has found out that the commercial property capital values grew by 0.5 per cent in November while the total returns increased for the third consecutive month across the UK. The total returns increased from 0.5 per cent in October to 0.9 per cent in November, a major sign of improvement, especially for investors, who are concerned about their investments in commercial assets.
In capital value growth, the industrial sector continues to race ahead of the rest with an increase of 1.2 per cent in November. The office space sector also showed strong growth, registering 0.4 per cent month-on-month growth, which is also the highest for the year. In offering total returns, the industrial sector was at the top registering 1.7 per cent growth this month.
In the commercial property rental sector, the values were stable during November. However, the office space sector showed an increase of 0.2 per cent while rents in the industrial sector increased by 0.3 per cent.
These findings show that the commercial property market in the UK continues to demonstrate growth and is offering attractive returns to investors.
